Mark Fawcett

Mark is an accomplished singer/guitarist and known for his compositional skills. He has released three solo albums and you can learn more about his work at www.markfawcett.co.uk and with Neil Young Tribute Band, Don't Spook The Horse.

 

Mark studied physics at Durham University and has thirty years’ experience in the recording industry. He has recorded everything from string quartets to symphony orchestras both in the studio and on location throughout the UK and has worked with internationally renowned artists such as Nicholas Daniel (Oboist/Conductor), Mike Cox (first flute BBC symphony orchestra, London Sinfonietta, Professor at the Royal Academy), Julius Drake (internationally acclaimed pianist), Tony Britten (Composer of the Champions League) and many string quartets including: Artesian String Quartet, Bingham String Quartet, Castalian String Quartet, Coull String Quartet, Maggini String Quartet.

 

Mark works extensively in the blues/rock/pop world too and can often be found mixing live shows front of house at EPIC TV Studios in Norwich. He has worked with Dr Feelgood, Bad Manners, Martin Carthy, Eliza Carthy, Martin Simpson, Aynsley Lister, The Nimmo Brothers...and many more!
