Mark Fawcett BSc (hons)
Mark studied physics at Durham University and has
over twenty years' experience in the recording industry.
He has recorded everything from string quartets to
symphony orchestras both in the studio and on
location throughout the UK.
Mark has worked with internationally renowned artists such
as Nicholas Daniel (Oboist/Conductor), Mike Cox (first flute BBC symphony orchestra, London sinfonietta, Professor at the Royal Academy), Julius Drake (internationally acclaimed pianist, working with many of the world’s leading artists) and many String Quartets including:
Bingham String Quartet,
Artesian String Quartet,
Castalian String Quartet,
Coull String Quartet,
Maggini String Quartet.
He is resident sound engineer at The Blakeney Harbour Room, a thriving blues venue on the North Norfolk coast.
Mark is a founder member of Neil Young tribute band, Don't Spook the Horse. He has produced three solo albums and recently formed a band playing only his original material.
